Stuck in the Middle with

Posted in Every time I come to South Dakota the weather goes crazy and I swear it brings the crazies with it. Have been performing at the fantastic Fat Daddys Comedy Club in Sioux Falls. Last night was interesting with the crazy drunk couples sitting on either side of the stage, and I am stuck in the middle. Nothing better then stopping the show to explain the joke to one group and then explain what I just explained to the other group. Maybe if you could put your cell phone down and listen for a minute you could help everyone in the crowd enjoy show.

Spent last weekend in Rochester, MN at the amazing Goonies Comedy Club. One of my personal favorite clubs. Where I worked with the hilarious Dwight York but, I degrease. Thats right, loosen up.
I drove into Rochester on Friday night when I noticed some crazy lights going off on the side of the street in downtown. At first I thought that they were Christmas, Holiday, festivus, what have you, lights. Then I thought I was driving through a Pink FLoyd concert. They were actually backdrops for their new fancy bus stops. These things looked like they cost a fortune. I would have no problem being homeless in Rochester with a house like that to go to every night. You know how apartment buildings try to make it a perk that it is near the bus line? Well now you can be on it.

The Comedy Club on State in Madison, WI, is known for being one of the best in the nation, and it proved it once again. I had such a good time, even with worrying about impressing a lot of family/friends. The club and staff are amazing.
I had a girl who was on mushrooms for the first time and did not know which way to exit the club. Even though there was a giant line filing out the door. Interesting that I had to help two people on mushrooms this week make it home (or at least send them in the right direction). Cause I am usually the one in need of directions.
So to Gus, Joe, Eve, Mary, Ben, Cary, Anna, Megan, Lee, Nick… shit I’m a dick and that is all I remember, but THANKS.

First time performing in Indiana at the Wisecrackers Comedy Club. Great room if you ever get a chance GO.
After the show got to hang out with TEO one of the stars of Half Pint Brawlers, a new show on Spike TV. I realize professional wrestling is a grueling sport, but I could never imagine what it takes to do midget wrestling. These guys just like the WWE put their bodies through hell and get little to no respect. So check out the show.

I love being able to perform near my roots. They are the kind of people I grew up with, drinking, partying, and carrying on like nobody else. THAT IS WISCONSIN. Driving back to Minnesota with a horrible hangover there is nothing better. THANKS WAUSAU.
Working the crowd with Dave Attell
Spent this week at Rick Bronsons HOUSE OF COMEDY at the big Mall of America. Sold out shows and the people didn’t act like they even realized what they were about to witness. Dave Attell is one of my favorite comics and he proved why. The crowd did not fully grasp him throughout the shows, but he would just keep hammering at them the only way Dave can – which was brilliant.

Had a blast rocking the people at The Eau Claire Convention Center. Twice the wireless mic went out on me. And twice the crowd stayed with me. To all the Eau Claire folks thanks for coming out it was a blast.
